Rs 5000 is distributed among 2 persons for 3 years. First party paid Rs 393 more interest than the second party. Find their sum where first party paid at Compound Interest and second party paid at Simple Interest.

let first person get f Rs and second one get s Rs such that f+s= 5000now, compound interest paid by first person= f(1+r)^3 – fand simple interest paid by second person= sr*3by given condition f(1+r)^3 – f= 393 + 3srso obviously this ques cannot be solved until value of r is provided. maybe you can repost the ques with a pic from the book you have taken it from. i will then b happy to assist you further.kindly approve :)
