hello pushkar, the answer is 1.
consider an eqn px^2 + qx + r= 0 whose roots are m, n. then (m – n)^2= (m+n)^2 – 4mn= q^2/p^2 – 4r/p= (q^2 – 4pr)/p^2.
now for the given eqn, (alpha – beta)^2 = ((2b)^2 – 4ac)/a^2= 4(b^2 – ac)/a^2.....(1)
similarly for the other eqn, ((alpha+delta) – (beta+delta))^2= ((2B)^2 – 4AC)/A^2= 4(B^2 – AC)/A^2
or (alpha – beta)^2= 4(B^2 – AC)/A^2......(2)
from (1) and (2),
4(B^2 – AC)/A^2= 4(b^2 – ac)/a^2
or (b^2 – ac)A^2/(B^2 – AC)a^2= 1
kindly approve :)
