Given that x +b/x= a
Hence x2 +b =ax..........(1)
And x3 + bx = ax2..........(2)
Also x3=a+1
Substituting value in en(2)
a + 1 + bx = ax2
Substituting value of x2 from eq(1)
a + 1 +bx= a(ax-b)
a + 1 +bx = a2x -ab
a2x - bx = ab + a + 1
x=(ab+a+1)÷(a2-b)
Ans is option C
