sec^2 A + cot^2 A = x
 
1 + tan^2 A + cot^2A = x
 
let cot A = c and tan A = t
 
c^2 + c^4 = x c^2 – 1
 
c^4 + c^2 ( 1 – x) + 1 = 0
 
now solve using sridharacharya
