Angle E = 90
CD = 2r
let CE=CE=x
x^2 + x^2 = 4r^2
x=root2 r
so Area CED = ½ * x * x = ½ (2r^2) = r^2

Area AOB = ½ * r *r = r^2/ 2

ratio of areas of triangle CED and triangle AOB = 2:1
