In two ways you can find the value of a
1. By using AB = CD (Opposite sides are equal)
2. By equating the slopes of AB and CD (Opposite sides are parallel)

Now to find the heigh of parallelogram from C or D upon base AB, You can use the formula: – Area = base * height (First find the area using the given coordinates).
