hey chirag!
co-ordinates of the origin are ( 0,0) .
and given that p ( 6,12).
we know that, midpoint formula is (x1+x2/2 , y1+y2/2)
on solving , we get the midpoint as --- (0+6/2, 0+12/2 )   =   (6/2 , 12/2 )    = (3, 6).

0/0 is called the indeterminant form that is undefined and wherever this condition occurs there is a method to solve this type of partuclar form.
The one method to solve this is that differentiate both numerator and denominator and put the mimit x value 0 or whatever the vale at which it is becoming the 0/0 indetrminant form.
