1/2[f(1) + f(-1)] is the anwer to your question. Hope i was helpful to you. you can check by putting the values in different polynomials.

Yes the previous answer is correct, but the constant term will also be added on that. Is it 0, an even number ?

the constant is one of the even degree terms so its ok …. the power of x for the constant is 0 and zero is even
