To find the Lateral Surface Area (LSA), Total Surface Area (TSA), and Volume of cubes, we can use the following formulas:

Formulas

  • Volume (V) = side³
  • Lateral Surface Area (LSA) = 4 × side²
  • Total Surface Area (TSA) = 6 × side²

Calculations for Each Cube

1. Cube with side 5.6 cm

Volume: 5.6³ = 175.616 cm³
LSA: 4 × (5.6)² = 125.44 cm²
TSA: 6 × (5.6)² = 167.64 cm²

2. Cube with side 6 dm

Volume: 6³ = 216 dm³
LSA: 4 × (6)² = 144 dm²
TSA: 6 × (6)² = 216 dm²

3. Cube with side 2.5 m

Volume: 2.5³ = 15.625 m³
LSA: 4 × (2.5)² = 25 m²
TSA: 6 × (2.5)² = 37.5 m²

4. Cube with side 24 cm

Volume: 24³ = 13824 cm³
LSA: 4 × (24)² = 2304 cm²
TSA: 6 × (24)² = 3456 cm²

5. Cube with side 31 cm

Volume: 31³ = 29791 cm³
LSA: 4 × (31)² = 3844 cm²
TSA: 6 × (31)² = 5796 cm²

Summary of Results

  • 5.6 cm: V = 175.616 cm³, LSA = 125.44 cm², TSA = 167.64 cm²
  • 6 dm: V = 216 dm³, LSA = 144 dm², TSA = 216 dm²
  • 2.5 m: V = 15.625 m³, LSA = 25 m², TSA = 37.5 m²
  • 24 cm: V = 13824 cm³, LSA = 2304 cm², TSA = 3456 cm²
  • 31 cm: V = 29791 cm³, LSA = 3844 cm², TSA = 5796 cm²
