12/98 is the probability when 1 and 100 are not included means they are excluded from the set because we need to see total number divisible by 8 they are 8,16,24..…......,96 and there come 12 number out of 98 that are divisible by 8 but when 1 and 100 both are included in the set then the probability becomes 12/100, the number of divisible numbers are same but now total numbers are 100.
