SET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates willing to apply for SET 2018 B.Tech must have completed the 10+2 or equivalent qualifying exam from any of the recognized board in India

• The candidate must have to be cleared the Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics with minimum score of 45% (for SC/ST minimum score is 40%)

• International students can also apply for SET 2018 according to the eligibility criteria mentioned in the prospectus and SCIE norms.
   

SET Application form 2018

• Candidates can purchase the application form online by paying the SET exam 2018 application form fees of Rs 1500 via online modes; internet banking or by using credit/debit cards

• Candidates can also avail the application by post and pay the SET exam 2018 application form fees via DD drawn in favor of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune on any nationalized bank or can also pay the application fees in Cash at selected branches of Indian Bank/ Axis Bank

• All the Candidates are required to generate their SET ID by registering their names on the official website of SET www.set-test.org.

• Candidates are required to upload their recent passport size photograph (in the said format and size) during online registration.
   

SET Admit Card 2018

Candidates are required to download the SET admit card from the official website of SET, www.set-test.org. No SET exams admit card shall be sent to the candidates via post or any other medium.
 

SET Syllabus and Paper Pattern

• Set 2018 shall be consisting of 150 objective type question with multiple choices

  • Physics: 25 questions (50 marks)

  • Chemistry: 25 questions (50 marks)

  • Mathematics: 50 questions (100 marks)

• Exam duration: 150 minutes

• Total Marks for SET 2018: 200 marks

• No negative marks shall be deducted for wrong attempts

Civil Engineering:	60 Seats
Computer Science & Engineering:	60 Seats
Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering:	120 Seats
Information Technology:	60 Seats
Mechanical Engineering:	120 Seats

SET 2018 Selection Procedure

The candidates shall be allocated seats in Symbiosis University on the basis of one of these criteria:

• The rank obtained in the SET 2018

• The rank obtained in JEE (Main) 2018

Candidates can take their results of SET 2018 from the website www.set-test.org
 

SET 2018 Counselling Process

Symbiosis University shall conduct the counseling for the SET 2018 and JEE (Main) 2018 candidates separately.
