RPET Exam 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Academic Eligibility

• Candidates willing to take admissions in to the B.Tech program in state of Rajasthan must have a minimum average of 45% marks (40% for ST/SC/Non Creamy Layer SBC/ Non Creamy Layer OBC).

• The candidates must have Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and one of these Bio-technology, Chemistry, Computer Science or Biology in 10+2.

• Candidates must have completed the 10+2 board exam from the state board of Rajasthan or any other equivalent board as acceptable

Domicile and Age Eligibility

• The candidate must be an Indian national born on or after 1^st of October 01, 1993 (For St/SC/OBC the candidate should be born on or after 1^st October 1988)

RPET 2018 Online Application form

RPET 2018 application forms shall be filled online only. Candidates can find the application form on these websites http://techedu.rajasthan.gov.in
 

RPET 2018 Online Application Filling Process

• Candidates willing to appear for the RPET 2018 are required to upload the scanned copies of their signature and photograph while filling the online form

• Candidates are also required to take the print outs of the filled in application form, to be used for future purposes.

• Candidates are required to send the copy of filled in application form to the Conducting board along with the requisite documents

• Candidates are required to send the print versions of the filled in application form along with the relevant certificates duly attested by gazetted officer at the administration cell, RPET via speed post (not courier) on the following address:

RPET 2018 Application Fees

• Candidates are required to pay the application fees of Rs. 800 by depositing a sum of Rs. 815 at any e-Mitra / CSC kiosk authorized by the Government of Rajasthan. The amount is not transferable nor adjustable nor refundable.

• Post payment the kiosk shall be generating a 16-digit Token number which is to be used while filling the application form.
   

Documents to be Submitted with RPET- 2018 Application Form

• Attested copy of SSE/equivalent Certificate and Mark sheet of with Date of Birth of the candidate

• Attested copy of Mark sheet of 10+2 Examination, in case the result of XII is awaited an attested photo copy of admit card of class 12^th Board Exam hall be enclosed

• Attested copies of the Certificate for reservation and category identity issued by relevant authorities

• Attested copy of relevant domicile certificate (whichever is applicable)

Physics: Measurement and Units, Dynamics of a Particle, Dynamics of a System of Particles, Simple Harmonic Motion, Intermolecular Forces, Kinetic Theory of Gases, First Law of Thermodynamics, Radiation, Wave Motion, Nature of Light, Electrostatics, Electric Circuits, Magnetic Field, Alternating Current Circuits, Modern Physics, Electronics

Chemistry: Development of Classical Model of an Atom, The Periodic Law, The Theory of Chemical Bonding, Chemical Equilibrium and Ionic Equilibrium, Chemical Kinetics, Acids and Bases, Metals, s-Block Elements, d-Block Elements, Alkynes, Derivatives of fatty acids, Polymers, nylon and Buna-S

Mathematics: Algebra, Theory of quadratic equations and expressions, relation between roots and coefficients, Arithmetic, geometric and harmonic progressions, Permutations and combinations, Matrices, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate Geometry, Coordinate axes and planes in three-dimensional space, Calculus, Limit and continuity of a function, Vectors and Probability.
 

RPET 2018 Exam Pattern

• RPET 2018 shall be conducted on 1^st week of May 2018 at various centers across the state of Rajasthan.

• The duration for the exam shall be 3 hours

• All the questions shall be in objective format with multiple choices

• A total of 120 questions with 40 questions from each of these subjects; Physics, Chemistry and Maths shall be asked and each question carries one mark.

• There shall be no negative marking for wrong attempts

• Question Papers shall be available in Hindi and English

RPET Result 2018

Candidates can check the RPET 2018 Results on the website Last week of May 2018.
 

RPET 2018 Counselling

• Candidates qualifying RPET 2018 are required to pay Rs 10,000 at any CSC Kiosk or e-Mitra along with a service cost of Rs. 25.

• Candidates are required to submit the 16 digit token as mentioned in the computerized receipt

• After allotment of the seats the candidates are required to submit the documents at the allotted college and pay the balance fees due.

• Date of commencement for filling of the online option form for counselling will start after the result is declared.

• Last date of depositing Rs. 10000 through CSC Kiosks / e-Mitra 2^nd week of June 2018.
