PDPU Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate applying for B.Tech admissions 2018 must have appeared the JEE Main 2018

  • The candidates are also required to clear the 10+2 or any other equivalent qualifying examination with a minimum score of 45% (40% for SC and ST) aggregate in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics taken all together
     

PDPU Admission 2018 Selection Procedure

  • The selection of the candidates for the admission procedure for B.Tech courses shall be done on the basis of their JEE Main Overall Rank

  • A reservation of 50% seats shall be done for the candidates of Gujarat State
     

Reservation Criteria for PDPU Admission 2018

  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 7.5%

  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 15%

  • Socially and Economically Backward (SEBC): 27%

  • Physically Challenged (PC): 3% (Minimum Disability of 40%)
     

PDPU Application form 2018

  • Candidates willing to take admission into the B.Tech courses offered by Pandit Deendyal Petroleum University can apply online by visiting the official website of PDPU.

  • Candidates are also required to pay the application fees of Rs.1200 online using Debit/Credit Cards
     

PDPU B.Tech Admission 2018 Selection Procedure

The admission cell at PDPU shall declare the merit list of the candidates eligible for the admissions into various B.Tech courses on the basis of the score of JEE Main 2018

A reservation of 50% seats shall be made for the candidates belonging to Gujarat state

Reservation Criteria for PDPU B.Tech Admission 2018

50% Seats for candidates belonging to Gujarat State (Gujarat Quota)

Candidates passing the 10+2 qualifying examination from the Schools of Gujarat located in the state and have also cleared the JEE Main 2018 are eligible under the Gujarat Quota

Reservation Criteria for Gujarat Quota

  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 7.5%

  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 15%

  • Physically Challenged (PC): 3% (Minimum Disability of 40%)

  • Socially and Economically Backward (SEBC): 27%

Rest 50% Seats for students from All over the country except the Gujarat State (All India Quota)

Candidates passing the 10+2 qualifying examination from the Schools of all other states and union territory except Gujarat and have also cleared the JEE Main 2018 are eligible under the All India Quota.

Reservation Criteria for All India Quotas:

  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 7.5 %

  • Scheduled Caste (SC):  15%

  • Girls Variable Supernumerary Seats (GVSS): 10%

  • Physically Challenged (PC): 3% (Minimum Disability of 40%)
     

PDPU 2018 Counselling

  • Candidates are required to be present on the counseling date personally with all the required original and photocopies of the certificates

  • PDPU 2018 Counseling for All India Quota shall be held from Second week of July 2018

  • For Gujarat State Quota Candidates the counseling shall be held  of Second week of July 2018
