CEED Exam 2019

The Bombay Indian Institute of Technology invited the eligible candidates who the Common Entrance Examination for Design. Candidates need to fulfil the required criteria in order to sit for this All India Examination conducted by Bombay IIT. Aspirants can apply online before or on the 10 November, 2017.

Qualification Required for the Examination

Candidates need to possess the qualification mentioned below from well-known/ recognized University by July 2019 in order to sit or this entrance examination.

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) or equivalent

  • Professional Diploma in Design (CEPT/NID) or equivalent

  • Bachelor Degree in (Design /Engineering / Architecture / Interior Design) or equivalent

  • Master Degree in (Science / Computer Applications / Arts) or equivalent

  • G.D. Art with at least 1 year of post qualification Professional Experience
     

Fee Structure

The application fee for the male candidates belonging to the OBC and General category is Rs. 2200 and it’s non-refundable. The admission fee for the female applicants belonging from all the Categories is Rs. 1100. This can be collected through the “SBI Collect Facility” via debit cards, credit cards, Internet banking, etc. Candidates need to access the official SBI site www.onlinesbi.com to enjoy this facility.

The procedure for selection

The candidates shortlisted for this exam will be chosen on the Eligibility Criteria basis, conducted by the administration.
 

Procedure for Making the Application

Interested applicants can visit the website www.gate.iitb.ac.in and applying online. They need to upload the recent photograph as well as attached the scanned copies of relevant documents and certificates. Apart from this, applicants also need to fill the required personal information, which include D.O.B, experience, qualification, category etc. Before or on the 1st of September candidates also need to upload the details of the online Application Fee Payment. Moreover, before applying one need to register his/her name. It is also important to save the information of the filled online Application Form after the successful submission of the application. This may come handy in future if any issues arise.
