How to Apply

Candidates seeking admission to various B. Tech programs can apply on payment of Admission Test fee of Rs.100. Candidates are advised to take note of the details given below:

Candidates can apply for the entrance examination through:

  • Online Mode of Application

  • Offline Mode of application

Candidates can fill up the details of the Application Form by making a payment of Rs. 550. Candidates are required to submit the duly filled-in Application form to the following address: Admission Section, Office of the Controller of Examinations, AMU, Aligarh-202002

Candidates must send their Application forms before the Last date i.e., Last week of February 2018.  

Note: The B. Tech Entrance Examination will be conducted on April 29th, 2018 (Sunday) at 10 A.M. 

Application Process

Candidates are required to fill-up the column given for Test Fee. If not done so, he/she will not be allowed to appear for the Entrance Examination.

Candidates are required to issue a Cash receipt/Demand Draft for the required amount which has to be drawn in favour of Finance Officer, AMU, and Payable at Aligarh from any nationalized bank.  

Details on the Application form must be filled-in very carefully by all candidates.

Candidates must note that the printout of the Application Form has to reach the Admission Section, AMU before the final date.

After the PDF copy of form has been generated, if any error or discrepancy is found, candidates will not be allowed to correct it. They have to fill-in a new Application Form is to be filled with details of the same DD/CR. The final PDF copy has to be sent to the University. The University will accept only those copies of the Application Form which will be accompanied by the DD/CR. For future reference, candidates should write down the Transaction ID of the final PDF copy.

After successful submission of Online Application form, candidates will be given a password & Transaction ID. The same can be viewed on the screen as well. Candidates will receive the Transaction ID & password in the email ID mentioned by them in the Application Form.


Points to Remember

  • Candidates have to send the duly filled-in Application Form/printout of the PDF file to the following address on or before the last date:

    • Deputy Controller (Admission Section), Controller’s Office, AMU, Aligarh – 202002

  • Before sending the Printout of the form to the Admission Section, candidates must check for the following steps:

    • Candidates are required to affix their recent photograph in the required spaces given on the form.

    • Candidates have to imprint the thumb impression and Sign in the area provided for this purpose.

    • Candidates have to sign after properly having gone through the declaration.

    • Candidates must attach the DD/C.R. along with all the requisite documents (HSC/10 + 2 certificate Mark sheets with the Application Form

    • Candidates are required to write the following behind the Demand Draft: Name, Father's Name & Course Name & Transaction ID

    • Candidates if employed must attach a No Objection Certificate from the employer.

    • Candidates applying for reservation of any special category are required to attach Certificate for the same. The Certificate has to be attested as well.

  • Candidates facing any difficulty while filling-up the Application Form can contact on the following Numbers: 0571-2700935, 9837043345 (office hours) from Monday to Friday. Candidates can also mail at helpdesk@amucontrollerexams.com.

  • All the above mentioned rules are to be followed carefully. Any mistake such as Application forms sent after the last date of submission, requisite payment of fee not made, Demand Draft not drawn in favour of Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh, relevant certificates/documents not attached - will lead to the rejection of the Application form. The University will not be responsible for any postal delay.
