Candidates willing to apply for the CENTAC JET 2017 must note that there is no such exam being conducted presently, and they can apply on the basis of Class 12th scores and for candidates outside state can apply for the 15% reserved seats on the basis of JEE Main 2017 scores.

Centac Pondicherry Admisssions 2017 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be citizens of India and the candidates of French Nationals which are covered by the Treaty of Cession can also apply for the CENTAC 2017 admissions

  • Candidates shall not be more than 21 years as on 1st July, 2017.

  • Candidates must have to be HSC passed or any other equivalent examination conducted across the country by any recognized board with a minimum score of 45% aggregate in 10+2. For SC/ ST/ OBC/ MBC/ BCM/ BT/ EBC candidates the minimum score is 40%.

  • The candidates applying for CENTAC 2017 must have cleared the 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of these; Computer Science/ Bio-Technology/ Chemistry/ Biology / Botany/ Zoology.
     

Centac Application 2017

  • Candidates willing to apply for CENTAC 2017 must apply online by visiting the official website of CENTAC www.centacprof.net.in and fill the application form online.

  • Candidates are required to download the filled-in form and send it to the CENTAC administrative office along with the required documents.
     

Centac Application Fees

  • General category candidates are required to pay the CENTAC application fees of Rs. 500 and candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ MBC/ BCM/ BT/ EBC category are required to pay the fees of Rs. 250

  • Candidates are required to pay the CENTAC application fees via Demand Draft drawn in favor of Convener, CENTAC payable at Pondicherry.
     

Documents to be Attached with Centac Application 2017

  • Photocopies of qualifying examination mark sheets and certificate

  • Photocopy of the Transfer Certificates and Conduct Certificates from the director of the institution last attended

  • Birth Certificate or class 10th pass certificate photocopy

  • Photocopy of the Community Certificate issued by the authorities

  • Photocopy of any Certificates for games, sports or any other extra-curricular activities the candidate has taken part


Centac 2017 Counseling

  • Candidates qualifying the criteria for CENTAC shall be sent intimation to appear for the counseling procedure conducted by the Centralized Admission Committee Pondicherry (CENTAC) to be present in person

  • Candidates are required to bring the required documents and the fees for admission, post which the seat allotment process shall be carried on.


Centac 2017 Counseling Fees

  • Candidate selected for the counseling procedure are required to pay the counseling fees of Rs. 850 for general category candidates and Rs. 350 for the SC/ ST/ OBC/ MBC/ BCM/ BT/ EBC category

  • After seat allotment and admissions this fee can be forfeited
