CEED 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates pursuing or have completed any of these exams by July 2019:

  • Bachelor Degree in Architecture/ Engineering/ Interior Design/ Design or any equivalent courses i.e. four year program after completion of 10+2.

  • Professional Diploma in Design (CEPT/NID or any equivalent program after completion of 10+2)

  • Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts (with 4 year professional program after completion of 10+2)

  • Graduate Diploma in Arts (with 5 year professional program after completion of 10th along with one year post qualification professional experience)

  • Master’s degree in Science/ Arts/ Computer Applications (with 2 year program after 10+2+3)

  • Candidates with 3 years Bachelors degree are not eligible for CEED 2019

CEED 2019 Application Form

The application form for CEED 2019 must be submitted online through the website

Registration:

Candidates willing to appear for CEED 2019 must register them online by filling the application form online by providing their relevant contact details. After registering the CEED website shall send a password to the user’s mobile and e-mail which shall be needed in completing the registration process. By using the

The application fees are required to be paid using SBI Collect Online banking, Credit or Debit cards. Application fees format:

Documents required to be submitted along with the application:

Candidates are required to upload the following documents:

  • Passport size photograph in jpg format

  • Candidate’s signature in jpg format

  • Degree certificate or certificate from principal/head of the department (in pdf format)

  • Cast certificate in pdf format (for SC/ST/OBC category candidates only)

  • Medical certificate in pdf format (for candidates claiming PD status)

  • Experience certificate in case of candidates with G.D. Arts qualification
     

CEED 2019 Admit Cards

The admit cards for CEED shall be available to download on the website of CEED from 1st week of January 2019. Candidates can download the admit cards form the website.
 

Syllabus & Pattern for CEED 2019

  • CEED 2019 shall be conducted in two parts, A and B.

  • Candidates are required to answer both the parts.

  • Part A is the computer based screening exam and the candidates clearing the Part A shall only qualify for the Part B

  • The score of the Part B of the exam shall only be considered for the CEED 2019 merit list.

Syllabus (Topics to be prepared)

Elements of Design, Principles of design, Choice of product concepts suitable for small and large scale production, Development of new product/ visual concepts & creative ideas based on analytical observation of  problems from daily life situation, Generation of solution in a given material and process such as sheet metal work wood fabrication, plastic molding, wire fabrication, etc. Imagination and Drawing Skills covering objects, birds, animals, furniture people and places from immediate or distant environments, Sample Sketching features, perspective  making, Design Concepts, Scale and proportions, Aesthetics & Sensitivity, Color Psychology and Applications, Representations of visual concepts into visual symbols and form, aided with drawings and illustrations, Drawings based on analysis.
 

CEED 2019 Preparation

CEED 2019 is a national level entrance examination conducted by IIT Bombay to assess the candidate’s aptitude for design, drawing skills, visual perception ability, creativity, communication skills, and logical reasoning. Cracking the CEED 2019 never been easier but planning and implementing makes each section strong. Candidates are advised to carry out mock test before examination and also solve previous year's question papers.

CEED 2019 Result

  • CEED 2019 Results shall be declared on 1st week of March, 2019

  • The score cards shall be made available on the website of CEED for downloads from 1st week of March, 2019.

  • The score cards shall be valid for two years from the date of announcement of results.
     

CEED 2019 Counselling

  • The admission information into postgraduate programs of various institutes participating in CEED 2019 shall be announced separately after declaration of results

  • Candidates are required to apply individually for the preferred institutes for the counseling procedure based on their scores of CEED 2019 and the eligibility criteria of the institutes.

  • Candidates qualifying CEED doesn’t guarantee admission in any programme offered by any institute participating in the CEED 2019 and candidates might be required to appear for further tests and interviews for respective design departments for admission of the institutes.
