Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is a computer based test for admission to various undergraduate courses in VIT. The exam will be conducted from April 8 to 19, 2015. The exams would be of 150 minutes (2 1/2 hours).
A merit list would be prepared based on the performance of the students in the VITEEE 2015 where rank would be mentioned. Possibility of getting his/her name in the merit list can be known by going through the VITEEE 2015 cut off list which may be issued by the completion of the exam. After the exam, each student does a rough calculation of the marks and can get a rough estimation of the rank depending on the cut off list. Thus, the possibility of getting qualified in VITEEE 2015 can be known.
A candidate can make a rough estimation of his/her performance in the entrance exam based on the VITEEE 2015 answer keys and can have some idea about his/her rank in the merit list on the basis of cut off lists of last five years. Those who score the marks above the recent VITEEE cutoffs would probably be called for counseling. Cut off list is also important in knowing whether the candidate would get the desired course in the VIT or not.
On the basis of last years’ cut off, it is estimated that those who gets marks from 60-70 out of 120 have a fair chance to be in the merit list and would be called for the counseling. So one should prepare hard and score good marks so that chances of getting admission are increased as competition is getting tougher and tougher.
