A Complete Checklist for VITEEE 2015 Counseling Procedure

The VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam) 2015 Counselling Procedure Phase 1 will be held from May 11, 2015 to May 16, 2015 for those candidates who secure a rank from 1 to 20,000. The VITEEE 2015 Counselling Procedure specifies rank-wise details of candidates who have been shortlisted for admissions, documents needed for verification, and the admission formalities for VITEEE 2015. VIT University has made an announcement about the counselling schedule for Phase 1. In a similar manner, it will release the dates for additional phases, too, according to the ranks secured by candidates according to the Merit List of VITEEE 2015. Counseling Procedure for VITEEE 2015:

• Phase 1 of VITEEE 2015 Counseling will begin from May 11, 2015.

• The Counselling Procedure will be multicity and will be carried out online.

• Candidates need to attend VITEEE 2015 Counselling in person.

• Candidates who have been shortlisted will be notified via SMS about their rank at VITEEE 2015 and other details pertaining to VITEEE 2015 Counselling. In addition, VIT University will publish all the details on their website.

• Candidates who have been shortlisted can choose either Chennai or Vellore for counselling and should submit their choice with regards to the centre for VITEEE 2015 Counselling.

• Candidates need to register on the date that has been specified as per their VITEEE 2015 rank for VITEEE 2015 Counseling.

• VITEEE 2015 Counseling Procedure will be held based on the AIR (All India Rank) secured in VITEEE 2015.

• Candidates should get the required documents properly verified before the Counselling Procedure begins.

• Candidates can peruse the details of various branches and total no. of seats per branch at the Counselling Centre.

• The preferred seat allotment for VITEEE 2015 of the students will be based on the availability of the chosen branch as well as campus.

• The number of seats available after completion of each round of VITEEE 2015 will be displayed on the notice board and website.

Requisite Documents for VITEEE 2015 Counseling Procedure:

Candidates need to submit the original document along with one set of photocopies

• 4 Recent Passport-size Color Photographs

• Copy of Class 12 Hall Ticket

• Mark sheet of Class 12 or Equivalent Exam

• Class 10 certificate for date of birth proof

• e-Admit Card of VITEEE 2015

• School Leaving Certificate / Migration Certificate / Transfer Certificate / Nativity Certificate for those candidates coming from Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern states

• SC/ST Community Certificate (if applicable)

• Student Profile filled by the candidate

• Affidavit submitted by candidate and his or her parents

Payment of Fees for VITEEE 2015 Counseling:

Rs 30,000/- through a crossed computerized Demand Draft, which is drawn in favor of “VIT University,” payable at Vellore.

Note:

• Candidates need to mention their VITEEE 2015 Name, Application Number, and Mobile number on the reverse side of the DD.

• Candidates should check the list of approved banks from the website.

Balance Fee: This fee should be paid through a computerized DD in favor of “VIT University” (payable at Vellore) prior to course commencement.

Note:

• Candidates who have completed their admission procedure need to open a bank account at Indian Bank at Vellore or Chennai campuses, according to their admission.

• Students who have opted for Vellore campus can also open a bank account at City Union Bank at the campus.
