Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam or UPSEE is a B. Tech Entrance Exam 2019 conducted for all the government and private engineering colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The exam will be organized by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (APJAKTU), Lucknow. APJAKTU has merged into Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) that used to conduct the examination till last year. Hence, people also refer to this engineering entrance exam as UPTU entrance exam 2019.

According to the latest UPSEE notification, UPSEE 2019 admission form or UPTU admission form 2019 will be available from 3rd week of January 2019 UPTU Exam Date Last week of April 2019 (for UG ) and first week of May 2019 (Tentative) (for PG).
Before applying for UPSEE, one should check out whether one fills the eligibility criteria of the exam or not.
Candidate must have cleared Class XII with 45% marks from a recognized central or state education board. SC/ST students must have at least 40% marks in the qualifying exam.
Students who have cleared the qualifying exam with grace marks are not eligible for the exam.
Students should have Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects in Class XII along with one of the following subjects:
Chemistry
Biology
Candidates vying out for B. Tech in Agriculture should have Agriculture discipline in the qualifying exam.
Students seeking lateral entry to the second year of B. Pharma., candidates should Diploma in Pharmacy with at least 60% marks.
Students seeking lateral entry to the second year of B. Tech, students should have completed 3-year Diploma in Engineering or B. Sc in Mathematics with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
For B. Tech admission 2019, students will be able to fill up the UPTU application form 2019 online as well as offline.
How to fill online application form?
The fee for UPTU 2019 online application form, can be paid through online gateways such as net banking or using credit card, Net Banking and debit card facilities on the official website - UPSEE 2019.
Before submitting the UPSEE 2019 online application form, students should ‘review’ the form closely and check whether all the details are filled-in correctly or not. After one completes UPTU online registration successfully, a unique registration number is generated. Candidates are advised to keep it safe until all the admission formalities are over.

How to fill offline application form?
Students can buy the UPSEE 2019 application form offline at the Head Post Offices throughout Uttar Pradesh, fill in the details and submit it to the above-mentioned address by Speed Post or as Registered Post only. Please note that students aiming for postgraduate courses such as MBA, MCA and MAM have to submit online application only and will have to appear for online exam or computer-based date. Male candidates of General and OBC category have to pay Rs. 1200/- while all the other candidates (including SC, ST category and all the female candidates) have to pay Rs 600/- as UPSEE application fees. Dates to download UPSEE admit 1st week of April 2019 (Tentative).
UPSEE 2019 will not have any negative marking. Questions asked in the exam will be multiple-choice type. The language of the UPSEE question paper will be in English and Hindi.
Paper 1 meant for engineering aspirants will have 50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Paper 2 meant for Biotechnology aspirants will have 50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
The overall duration of the paper will be 3 hours while the total number of questions asked in the exam will be 150. Each question will carry 4 marks and maximum marks allotted for the exam will be 600.

The list of UPSEE Exam Centres for this year has now been released yet. But it is likely that the UPTU 2019 exam centres will be situated in UP as well as at other locations, as happened in 2018. The latest information will be updated on this page as soon as it is available.
Students are advised to check out the UPTU 2019 exam centres and indicate their choice of exam cities by filling up the correct exam centre code in the given space.

Based on UPTU Entrance Exam Result 2019, students will be shortlisted for UPTU counselling for B. Tech. Students will only be granted admission after UPTU counselling procedure is complete and their documents have been verified successfully.
UPSEE Cut off 2019 will be the minimum marks candidates will need to score to be considered for the merit list. The information has not been released yet. Last year, students needed to have at least 25% marks to make it to the merit list (20% for SC and ST category students). The actual cutoffs are based on a number of factors like number of applicants appearing for the exam, number of seats available, difficulty level of exam and previous years’ cutoff. They might vary for different institutes and courses too, depending on how many students choose to go for a particular course or institute during counselling. UPSEE result date or UPTU counselling 2019 have been announced Last week of May 2019.
