SRM University is going to conduct SRMJEEE entrance exam to grant admission to aspirants into undergraduate engineering courses. The SRMJEEE 2017 will be held from 1st to 30th April, 2017 (online mode).
SRMEEE 2017 is an all India level engineering entrance exam conducted by the SRM University for the admissions into the B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA courses offered by the SRM University. Candidates willing to pursue the engineering courses from the SRM University are required to clear the SRMEEE. The preparation for SRMEEE is based on the syllabus set by the University.

For admissions into B.Tech and Health Sciences UG the candidates can choose the mode of appearing exams, either Paper – Pencil mode or online entrance exam. For admissions into MBA and MCA candidates have to appear for online entrance exam only.
Domicile and Age Eligibility
Candidates seeking admissions into B.Tech courses offered by SRM University should be a citizen of India.
The candidate must have completed his preceding two years of education from schools located in India.
The candidates must have completed his/her education from educational institutions in India and have cleared the qualifying exam as well.
Academic Eligibility
The candidate seeking admission into the SRM University for B.Tech programs must have qualified their 10+2 or any other equivalent exam.
The candidate must have scored an aggregate of 70% in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry to apply for admissions in all programs.
For admissions into Genetic Engineering, Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering a minimum of 70% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology taken altogether has to be scored by the candidate.
In the SRMEEE 2017 the candidates attempting Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are eligible for the B.Tech. Degree programs.
Candidates attempting the Chemistry, Physics and Biology in SRMEEE 2017 are only eligible for the B.Tech. Biomedical Engineering, Genetic Engineering programs and Biotechnology programs along with various programs in Health Sciences.

The applications form for SRMEEE 2017 is available on the official website or Click Here. Application for SRMEE 2017 can be done in two ways; candidates have to choose either of the two.
Online with DD: Filling up the OMR sheet and send to the university department by safe means along with the DD of Rs 900 drawn in favour of SRMIST. The last date of receiving the applications at the admission cell of the university is 4th Week of March 2017.
Online using Unique Voucher Code/ e-payment: Candidates can fill the application form online and pay using prepaid Unique Voucher Code or online payment methods.
The last date of receipt of filled application form at the University address is 4th of March 2017. Applications received after that shall not be considered.
Candidates shall keep one copy of the filled application form for future reference.
The university shall not be responsible for any postal delay/loss in transit of the application forms.
Candidates are also requested to give their mobile details as they shall be updated about all the important details via SMS.
Candidates can also log on to the website www.srmuniv.ac.in/admissions with their username and password to avail all the latest information related to the SRMEEE 2017.
The SRM admit card 2017 will be issued to the candidates who are eligible for appearing the SRMEEE 2017 after filling the application form with all the necessary details.
The SRMEEE 2017 admit card contains the name, address and photograph of the candidate appearing in the exam along with the centre allotted with the test schedule.
The candidates can download the hall tickets from the official website www.srmuniv.ac.in and are required to take the print out of the hall ticket and present it on the day of examination.
In case of any mismatch of the information provided on the admit card with that of the candidates actual details, they are required to report to the admissions immediately.
No candidates shall be permitted to access the exam centre without the hall ticket.
Tampering of the hall tickets can result in cancellation of the applications, also the hall ticket is not a transferable instrument. Candidates doing such can be penalized legally and can also be discarded for appearing the exam for lifetime.

The SRMEEE 2017 question paper will carry a total of 155 question divided into 4 parts.
PART 1 - PHYSICS (35 Questions)

PART 4: BIOLOGY (50 Questions)
NOTE: Each question carries 5 marks and every wrong answer attempted has a negative marking of 1 mark for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 0.7 for Biology.
Candidates are required the original copy of the admit card as downloaded from the website, failing to which shall lead to cancellation of the application.
Candidates are required to bring the stationary required for the exam such as HB pencil, eraser, and ballpoint pen into the exam hall.
No study material/log books/text books are allowed to be brought inside the exam hall.
Mobile phone/pager/programmable calculators are not permitted to be brought inside the exam hall.
Candidates are required to handle the OMR sheet very carefully and no malpractice with the PMR sheet shall be done.
Candidates shall not be allowed to leave the exam hall before the allotted time.
Candidates are also required to bring their ID proof along with the admit card to the exam hall so as to prove the identity of the candidates and the date of birth.
Candidates shall be provided with a sheet for rough work and are required to perform all the rough work on the sheet only. No additional papers shall be provided apart from the sheet.

Counseling Procedure
Candidates eligible for the counseling procedure as per the rank scored in the SRMEEE 2017 shall be sent an invitation to attend the counseling for the final admissions. The candidates are required to be present physically on the date of counseling.
The date and the time for counseling shall be published on the official website of the SRMEEE. Candidates can download the counseling letter from the site and are required to be present for the counseling procedure.
No change in the date/time of the counseling shall be permitted. In case, if any candidates cannot be present personally for the counseling procedure the seat of him/her shall be offered to the next candidate in order of merit.
The candidates selected for the counseling procedure are to be present with the fees in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of "SRMIST", payable at Chennai. Upon the confirmation of the seat and acceptance of the branch allotted they are required to submit the DD to the counseling officer.
Allotment of the seats in a particular branch once made cannot be changed under any of the circumstances. The candidates are required to submit the original documents along with the tuition fees for the first year.
