ENAT Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates willing to appear ENAT 2016 must be born on or after 31^st December 1993

• The candidates must have cleared 10+2 HSC Exam in Science or any equivalent exam

• The candidate must have to be an Indian national

• Also, the candidates applying for Lateral B-Tech must have 3 year diploma in Engineering approved by board of technical examination

• The candidate applying for Lateral B-Tech should have 3 year diploma in Engineering approved by board of technical examination or B.Sc in mathematics with a minimum score of 50% in aggregate

Application

In the offline mode of application filling the candidates are required to download the form from the website, fill it and send it to the admission department before March  2016 along with a DD drawn in favor of 'Manipal University' payable at Manipal or Udupi.

• Physics: Dynamics, Newton’s laws of motion, Work - power – energy, Gravitation, Heat, Gas laws, Waves, Sound, Physical Optics, Interference, Diffraction, Polarisation, Speed of light, Electrostatics, Electric charges, Electrostatic Field, Capacitors, Current Electricity, Electric current, Kirchoff’s laws Atomic Physics, Scattering of light, Nuclear Physics, Radioactivity, Elementary particles, Solid state electronics, Digital Electronics, Soft condensed matter physics.

• Mathematics: Matrices, Rank of Matrices, Algebra, Sets and Relations, Calculus, Complex Numbers, Differentiation and Integration, Trigonometry, Quadratic Equations, Co-ordinate Geometry, Logarithms, Ellipse

• Chemistry: Atomic Structure, Inorganic Chemistry, Nuclear chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Chemical Equilibrium and Ionic Equillibria, Solutions, Stereochemistry, Non-metals and compounds, Ores and minerals, Polymers

Paper Pattern

• The question paper for ENAT 2016 shall consist of a total of 240 questions (Physics - 60 questions, Chemistry – 60 Questions, Mathematics – 80 Questions and English and General Aptitude - 40 questions)

• For Lateran B.Tech, the test shall be divided into two sections with 1^st section shall comprise of 60 question of diploma level and the 2^nd sections shall comprise of 40 question of the branch selected.

• Candidates having the B.Sc with Maths will have separate question paper with 70 questions in Maths and 30 questions in communication skills.

ENAT Results

Candidates can avail the ENAT 2016 Results from the website in the third week of May, 2016.

ENAT Counseling

• ENAT 2016 counseling procedure, dates and venue shall be declared on the official website. Candidates qualifying for admissions shall be sent the invitation for counseling procedure.

• Candidates shall be shortlisted strictly on the basis of merit and scores secured in ENAT 2016.

• The candidate may opt for one course and simultaneously get waitlisted for another course.

• Candidates are required to pay the fees of the course of first year during the admission procedure

• Candidates are required to be present with all the original documents, certificates along with the photocopies of them on the counseling venue.
