AUEEE 2017 EXAM CENTERS

The Annamalai University Engineering Entrance Examination 2017 test centers are located in almost all cities of Tamil Nadu along with some of the major cities in India. A few are listed below:

AUEEE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Residency Status

  • The candidates willing to appear the AUEEE 2017 must be Indian nationals.

  • Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu must have studied the state of Tamil Nadu for a minimum of 5 years (including 10th and 12th Board) and for them nativity certificate are needless to produce.

  • Children of Central Government employees are also eligible to apply for the AUEEE 2017 irrespective of their nativity, but only if their parents have been serving in the state of Tamil Nadu since five years.

Academic Eligibility

  • Candidates must have cleared the 12th Board from Tamil Nadu with core subjects as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry

  • Candidates with diploma degree with subjects like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical and Electronics, Science and Engineering are also eligible to apply for AUEEE 2017

  • Candidates must have scored an aggregate of 60% (for general, 50% for MBC/DNC, 55% for BC and mere pass for SC/ST) in the class 12th board examination.

AUEEE 2017 APPLICATION FORM

  • The application form for the AUEEE 2017 are available on the Annamalai University Cash Counter and can also be availed by post from Annamalai University, by sending a DD along with self addressed KRAFT Envelope of Size 31 cm x 15 cm with stamps of Rs 25.

  • Application forms are also available online at its official website.

  • Candidates are required to submit the filled in application forms to the university before of June 2017

  • Candidates are required to pay the application form fees of INR 800 (for General category, INR 400 for SC/ST/OBC) by cash at the cash counter of university or online payment methods using Debit Card/ internet banking or also by sending DD drawn in favor of The Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar payable at Chennai

Candidates are required to by putting the enrolment/registration number.

AUEEE SYLLABUS 2017

The AUEEE syllabus shall be based on the second year syllabus of Higher Secondary academic course of Tamil Nadu state.

  • Physics: Modern Physics, Magnetic Effects of Current, Gravitation, Units and Measurement, Laws of Motion, Properties of Matter, Optics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Oscillations, Harmonic Motion, Sound, Wave Motion, Electronics, Magnetism

  • Chemistry: Atomic Structure, States of Matter, Redox Reactions, Electrochemistry & Surface Chemistry, Atomic and Molecular Masses, Periodic Properties, Chemical Families, Chemistry of Non Metals & Metals, Surface Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Synthetic and Natural Polymers & Bio molecules, Organic Compounds, Containing Oxygen, Nitrogen, Inorganic Chemistry, Solutions, Nuclear chemistry, Transition elements (3d series), Polymers, Chemical Equilibrium and Ionic Equillibria, Organic Chemistry, Co-Ordination Chemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, Organic Chemistry Fundamentals, Chemistry in Action & Environmental Chemistry,

  • Mathematics: Algebra, Arithmetic Mean, Sets and Relations, Trigonometry, Calculus, Differentiation and Integration, Complex Numbers, Quadratic Equations, Matrices, Co-ordinate Geometry, Logarithms, Ellipse

AUEEE 2017 EXAM PATTERN

  • The entrance exam shall carry 120 objective type questions with multiple choices

  • Duration of 120 minutes shall be allotted to solve the question

  • Each subjects, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry shall carry 40 question each

  • The OMR sheets shall be allotted to the candidates to answer the questions

  • For every right answers 1 mark shall be awarded and 1 negative mark shall also be deducted for wrong answer attempted
