The topper of IIT Hyderabad, Shiva went to the US for higher studies in August 2015. Reportedly, he hanged himself in his room because of his bad grades in the first semester of the MS course he was pursuing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Shiva Kiran was studying for a Master\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s degree at the North Carolina State University in Raleigh City of United States. He was sharing room with two other university students \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 both being Chinese. It is being said that he was depresses ever since he fared badly in the first semester exams and had withdrawn the fee he had paid for the second semester of the course.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Shiva\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s family told the media that he had called home to say that he wanted to come back to India and prepare well for the next semester. They are mystified over why he hung himself instead of returning to them.
