And so does BITS Pilani, BITS Goa and IISc Bangalore. Here\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s a funny look at these institutes and see which country they identify with on a World Map:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. BITS Goa &#8211; Bahamas. The tropical beaches; the sun, sand and sea; absolute paradise.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. BITS Pilani &#8211; Switzerland. A little expensive..it is Heaven for General Category. Beautiful nation with many intelligent people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. IISC, Bangalore &#8211; Australia. Academic Research is the top priority. Less population. Talented but often overlooked. An Underdog.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4. IIT BHU &#8211; Nepal. Situated in the North, in the Holy Country for Hindus, it is recently introducing new set of rules to forge a new brand image.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5. IIT Bhubaneshwar &#8211; Cambodia. Only some of us have heard about it and no one really talks about it. Small and ignored.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">6. IIT Bombay &#8211; United States of America (USA). Most developed and the most popular one too. Entry is not easy. Best you can get.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">7. IIT Delhi &#8211; United Kingdom. Second top on the Popularity List. Considered top notch too. Situated in Capital and Central to the World.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">8. IIT Dharwad &#8211; Khalistan. Everyone is demanding it but everybody knows that it will never be a real entity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">9. IIT Gandhinagar &#8211; Bangladesh. Alcohol ban. Strong connections with neighbouring nations. Dull celebrations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">10. IIT Guwahati &#8211; Singapore. Originated mysteriously, this young and vibrant institute has quickly outshined many of the other IITs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">11. IIIT Hyderabad &#8211; United Arab Emirates. Has developed quickly in the recent days. Young but moving up recently.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">12. IIT Indore &#8211; Belarus. This tiny one has managed to produce world-renowned coders in its past few years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">13. IIT Jodhpur &#8211; Egypt. Situated in the middle of a desert, it does not have much to show.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">14. IIT Kanpur &#8211; Japan. Situated in the Industrial Capital, it is home to some of the most powerful supercomputers ever made.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">15. IIT Kharagpur &#8211; Russia. Biggest of all IITs. Huge and Powerful, it is often underestimated when compared with the Newer IITs that lead the game today. Seething, it is in a state of Cold War with the other IITs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">16. IIT Madras &#8211; China. Weird laws but rising slowly and powerfully like a Dragon. Already accepted as a Dominant Power.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">17. IIT Mandi &#8211; Bhutan. Sits in the mountain land, it has its strategic importance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">18. IIT Palakkad &#8211; Argentina. It\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s a big name of the South. We have heard of it. We know nothing else about it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">19. IIT Patna &#8211; Yemen. Uncertainty rules. Evacuation plan needed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">20. IIT Roorkee &#8211; India. We remember it for its past glory \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 its golden days. Today, it is simmering with power ready to move up but no one knows when it will be able to do so.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">21. IIT Ropar &#8211; Canada. Relatively cold. Punjabis rule here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">22. IIT Tirupati &#8211; Pakistan (of 1947 era). Tremendous political turmoil took place to make it happen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">23. ISM Dhanbad (Soon to be an IIT) \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 Greenland. Is it a nation? Or it isn\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2t?
