The main objective behind setting up this service is to provide guidance in admission procedure to freshers among many other things.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some 2nd year under- graduate students are selected as Student Guides for the Counselling Service Team.Freshers are assigned a single Student Guide who helps and guides them through the admission procedure. Each Student is assigned one Student guide but each Student Guide is assigned 6 to 7 freshers whom he has to guide through the process of orientation and help them adjust.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These Students are known as Counselees. Culturally, Student Guides are known as <strong>\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cBaapu\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d<\/strong> and the freshers (counselees) are his <strong>\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cBacchas\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d<\/strong>. So, basically each Baapu has to guide around 6 -7 bacchas through the process. Bacchasunder the same Baapu are <strong>\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cBhais\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>of each other. All the Student Guides are Bhais of each other and are addressed as <strong>\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cChachu\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>by the students under other Baapus. \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cDaddu\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d is the one who is Baapu\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2sBaapu and Baapu\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s girlfriend will be the <strong>\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cBaccha\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s Amma\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">After the 1st year comes to an end, the Bapu has to give a treat (known as \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201c<strong>Baap treat<\/strong>\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d) to the <strong>Bachhas<\/strong>.. This relationship between Baapus and their Bacchas continues as long as they like after the end of the first year of Bacchas, after all it\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s all about respecting and understanding others feelings.
