{"id":573,"date":"2013-11-12T18:12:50","date_gmt":"2013-11-12T12:42:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.askiitians.com\/blog\/?p=573"},"modified":"2013-11-12T18:12:50","modified_gmt":"2013-11-12T12:42:50","slug":"gate-2014-admit-card-to-be-available-from-december-18-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.askiitians.com\/blog\/gate-2014-admit-card-to-be-available-from-december-18-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"GATE 2014 Admit Card to be available from December 18, 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.askiitians.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/10-gate2014.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-574\" alt=\"GATE 2014 Admit Card to be available from December 18, 2013\" src=\"https:\/\/www.askiitians.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/10-gate2014.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>New Delhi: <\/b>According to the latest GATE 2014 notification, admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2014, conducted jointly by the seven zonal IITs and IISc for admission to their Master-level and postgraduate courses in engineering disciplines, will be available on its official website (http:\/\/gate.iitkgp.ac.in\/gate2014\/admitcard.php) from December 18, 2013<br \/>\nThe seven zonal IITs include the<a title=\"AskIITians.com | Engineering College | Indian Institute Of Technology Mumbai\" href=\"http:\/\/www.askiitians.com\/top-engineering-colleges\/iit-bombay\/\"> IIT Bombay<\/a>, <a title=\"Top Engineering Colleges, IIT-Delhi\" href=\"http:\/\/www.askiitians.com\/top-engineering-colleges\/iit-delhi\/\">IIT Delhi<\/a>, IIT Guwahati, <a title=\"AskIITians.com | Engineering College | IIT-Kanpur\" href=\"http:\/\/www.askiitians.com\/top-engineering-colleges\/iit-kanpur\/\">IIT Kanpur<\/a>, <a title=\"Top Engineering Colleges, IIT-Kharagpur\" href=\"http:\/\/www.askiitians.com\/top-engineering-colleges\/iit-kharagpur\/\">IIT Kharagpur<\/a>, <a title=\"AskIITians.com | Engineering College | Indian Institute Of Technology Madras\" href=\"http:\/\/www.askiitians.com\/top-engineering-colleges\/iit-madras\/\">IIT Madras<\/a> and IIT Roorkee.<\/p>\n<p>Students will have to download their GATE 2014 admit card as the exam authorities will not send it by post or e-mail.<\/p>\n<p>To download the admit card, candidates must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log on to official website at and navigate to the Admit Card option.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the link, enter the required details like name, date of birth and registration number, and submit it.<\/li>\n<li>Check the Admit card that is generated diligently for correctness of the information. In case of any error, inform the concerned authority immediately.<\/li>\n<li>Print out the admit card and keep it safe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>GATE is considered highly competitive and one of the most difficult exams. It will be conducted between February 1 to March 2, 2014. The exam will have duration of three hours and will be conducted in two shifts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>9 am to 12 noon, and<\/li>\n<li>2 pm to 5 pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Candidates are advised to be present at the examination centre half an hour before the scheduled timing.
