Ltd, has successfully developed robotic assistants or mechanical butlers very recently in India. Giving a tough competition to international <i>drive units<\/i> (batter-powered mobile robots), these indigenous mechanical robots will fetch items for customers at various stores.<\/p>\n<p>Mechanical butlers function with a designated rack and a laser pointer. As most fetching is done by robots, other workers can focus more on processing orders and doing other productive work.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cMy association started with robots when I took up a challenge, for which nobody was up, to build a robot for a competition while I was in the 11th grade,\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d Samay Kohli, the 27-year-old co-founder and chief executive of Grey Orange Robotics, said.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"http:\/\/www.askiitians.com\/top-engineering-colleges\/bits-pilani\/\">BITS Pilani <\/a>alumni, Kohli developed love for robotics in the college while participating in a project called AcYut.
