There are two ways to prepare for NEET. Either you\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>start preparing from 11th standard or after\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>completing your schooling.<\/em><\/strong><\/span>Some students clear NEET in their first attempt and\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>some may take years. Its not that tough if you know the ‘<\/em><\/strong><\/span>DO’s and DONT’ S while preparing.’\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>It is the appropriate time to start your preparation\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>for NEET, an entrance exam to get into a prestigious\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>medical college.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

So, let us see some tips to know better how to start<\/em><\/strong><\/span>and from where to start.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

BIOLOGY<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

  • You must focus on biology as it covers 50% of the\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>question paper.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  • You should thoroughly read NCERT as 90% of the\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>questions are from NCERT. NCERT is the text book\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>for NEET. You should not miss even a word or\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>diagram of it.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  • You have to practice a lot of MCQ s on a everyday\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>basis and should try to complete 90 questions in 45\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>minutes.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    CHEMISTRY<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

    • Chemistry is a scoring subject and less time consuming as\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>compared to physics.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
    • In chemistry we have 3 sections and generally have equal\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>weightage of 15 questions each out of 45 questions in chemistry.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      (1) Organic chemistry – This section is full of reactions and<\/em><\/strong><\/span>
      \nmechanisms. You can refer to NCERT for organic. It’s sufficient.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      (2) Inorganic chemistry – Again for inorganic you can refer to<\/em><\/strong><\/span>
      \nNCERT. This is the most scoring part as it is memory based and can<\/em><\/strong><\/span>
      \nbe done in less time.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      (3) Physical Chemistry – For physical chemistry apart from NCERT<\/em><\/strong><\/span>
      \nyou need to do extra efforts in solving a lot of numericals.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      PHYSICS<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      • This is the part of paper that requires extra time and effort.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
      • For physics you can’t depend on NCERT. You need to\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>practice a lot of questions from books like Cengage and H.C. Verma. Not all questions are\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>lengthy numericals, some are conceptual and can be\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>done in couple of seconds. So its important to have an overall picture.”<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
