{"id":10301,"date":"2018-07-07T18:30:38","date_gmt":"2018-07-07T13:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.askiitians.com\/blog\/?p=10301"},"modified":"2018-07-07T18:30:38","modified_gmt":"2018-07-07T13:00:38","slug":"jee-main-neet-held-twice-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.askiitians.com\/blog\/jee-main-neet-held-twice-year\/","title":{"rendered":"JEE Main, NEET To Be Held Twice A Year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-10302\" src=\"https:\/\/www.askiitians.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/JEE-Main-NEET-To-Be-Held-Twice-A-Year-300x113.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"113\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10302\" src=\"https:\/\/www.askiitians.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/JEE-Main-NEET-To-Be-Held-Twice-A-Year.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"784\" height=\"295\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>It is confirmed that JEE &amp; NEET exams will be held twice a year and guess what, both exams to be conducted online!!!!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar<\/strong> on Saturday announced that the <strong>NEET<\/strong>, the gateway to medical and dental colleges across the country and <strong>JEE Main<\/strong>, for admission into engineering colleges will be <strong>conducted twice a year<\/strong> from <strong>January 2019<\/strong> and will be held by the newly formed examination conducting agency,\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<strong>National Testing Agency (NTA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>These competitive exams will be held on multiple dates, the <strong>best score will be considered for further process to admission in colleges<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JEE Main exam<\/strong> will be held in <strong>January and April<\/strong> while <strong>NEET<\/strong> will be held\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0<strong>in February and May<\/strong>. The <strong>JEE (Advanced) will continue to be conducted by the IITs(JAB)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>All these exams would be <strong>computer-based<\/strong> and that students can practice at home or at authorized computer centers free of cost. The details of such centers would be announced soon. Syllabus, question format, language, and fees won&#8217;t change.
