The Madhya Pradesh board of higher secondary education was established in the year 1965 with an aim to impart quality education to the students of the state. The board conducts three board examinations namely: the Middle School Exam for Standard VIII, High School Certificate Examination for standard X and the Higher Secondary (School) Certificate (HSC) Exam for standard XII.
Some of the important aims that the board always looks for are:
To decide the policy related and managerial issues and work for the welfare of the state's higher educational system
To prescribe syllabus, conducts class 10th and 12th board examinations and grant affiliations to various colleges & schools within the state.

Madhya Pradesh Board of Higher Secondary Education will soon publish its class 12 exam time table 2020 on the official site. It is expected that the examination for the high school and intermediate will be held in the month of March/ April 2020.
