You must have jotted down the key points or highlighted the fats, just review them. This is necessary to recall the facts which have got buried in the deeper layers of the brain.

  • Practice is the only mantra to success: There is no shortcut to success. Practice as much as you can. The more you practice, the more comfortable you will be on the day of the exam. Try to work on your speed as well. Instead of solving the entire question, use shortcuts and skip steps. But this does not mean that you’ll commit mistakes.

  1. Previous Papers: The past year papers simulate the real exam in the closest possible way. They help in identifying the areas where there is scope of improvement. It is not possible to crack such elite exams until you practice tons of previous year papers. At times you can also be lucky to get some repeated question in the exam.

  2. Problem solving and analytical skills: BITSAT not only examines the subject knowledge but also tests language proficiency and aptitude. Majority of the aspirants work hard on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics but ignore English proficiency and Logical Reasoning. Do not commit this mistake as this can prove to be dangerous. These two sections are equally important and in fact are more scoring as compared to the rest.

  3. Work on your calculations: It is extremely important to be good at calculations if you wish to succeed in BITSAT. Don’t read the solutions; instead try to solve maximum number of questions yourself. This will help in improving your speed and your calculations will also become strong. in the initial you must not use calculators but when the exams are just around the corner, prefer using calculators for calculations.

  4. Tune in your biological clock: Most of the students prefer studying till late hours and sleep in the morning. There is nothing wrong in that as everyone has got his own approach. But when the exam is just few days away, it becomes important to reschedule your routine. Study during the day else you might feel sleepy during your exam.

  5. Importance of Recreation: If you restrict yourself within your room, you might feel psychologically satisfied thinking that you are studying 24 hours a day. But the fact is that your productivity would not be that of 24 hours. It is important to relax and take frequent breaks as these breaks help in gaining the lost energy. Practice some yoga or meditation as it infuses positive energy and improves concentration.

Be optimistic and have faith in yourself. You determination can help you get through. Moreover, BITSAT is just another exam of your life which will come and go. keep your spirits high and win this race!
