The National Testing Agency has recently announced that the JEE Main 2020 exam is going to be held from September 1, 2020, to September 6, 2020. Earlier this exam was scheduled to be held on April 5, 7, 8, and 11 but because of the nationwide lockdown due to the current situation of the pandemic, keeping in mind the health of students or candidates, the authorities decided to postpone the JEE Exam date. The exam pattern for JEE Main 2020 for all the courses is as follows:

  • B.Tech/B.E There will be 75 questions and each question will carry 4 marks that make a total of 300 marks. These questions will be divided into 3 subjects i.e Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and there’ll be 25 questions based on each subject. Also, as added recently, there'll be numeric based questions as well.
  • B. Planning There’ll be 100 questions in the B.Planning question paper and it’ll be of 400 marks in total.
  • B.Arch The question paper of B.Arch will have 77 questions for 400 marks.
