Before filling up and submitting the IIT JEE online application form, candidates should check both the JEE Main and JEE Advanced eligibility criteria.
Please note that a student can appear for IIT JEE only twice – once in the year in which he or she has appeared for Class 12 board exam and the year next. Hence, for JEE 2014, students who have cleared their Class 12 board exams in 2013 as well as students who will appear for board exams in 2014 will be eligible. Students whose board exam results will be declared after June 2014 will not be eligible for IIT JEE 2014.
Know how to fill JEE Main 2014 application form
JEE Mains 2014 rank will remain valid for two years. Hence, those who qualify for JEE Advanced 2014 this year will be able to take the JEE Advanced 2015 exam too.
Online registration of JEE Advanced 2014 will start on May 4 and end on May 9, 2014.
Successful students in JEE Main can apply for the exam online and pay the fees through e-challan generated during online registration in any SBI branch.
The examination fees for General category & OBC category male students is Rs 2,000 and SC, ST or PwD category male candidates is Rs 1,000. There is no fee for female candidates. The receipt of fee payment has to be scanned and uploaded online by May 12, 2014 (if fee is paid through e-challan) to complete the application process.
