Like each year the seats in different IITs, IT-BHU and ISM Dhanbad would be allotted to candidates based strictly on their AIR in IIT JEE 2011 exam. The Category Rank and the choices made by all the successful candidate online / off line at the time of IIT JEE 2011 counselling also play important roles in the final seat allocation.
The IIT JEE website will display the details of IIT JEE 2011 counselling and admission procedure as well as their dates.The JEE results are also used by other premier engineering institutions (IISER etc.) for admission in their various programs, which makes IIT JEE 2011 Counselling all the more crucial. The JEE website will publish the names of all such premier institutes shortly after the declaration of IIT JEE 2011 results.
