Besides salts, ORS contains carbohydrates probably in the form of sugars. Sugars are a breeding ground for bacteria, fungus, yeast and other nasty stuff. So you probably don’t want to keep it out and would be probably safer (especially if you are giving ORS to children) if you made it fresh all the time.
