Hello Student

If DNA replication is not followed by cell division then it results in polyploidy or chromosomal abnormality.

If DNA replication is not followed by cell division then it will results in syncitial I.e. it undergoes karyokinesis (division of nucleus)..but cytokinesis (division of cytoplasm) doesn`t take placeplace...which will result in formation of number of nucleus in a single cell

If DNA replication is not followed by cell division a condition called polyploidy will come into picture,i.e. unusual no. Of chromosomes in the cell. However, it is quite common in plants.

If DNA(telophase) is not followed by cytokinesisi n an eukaryotic cell it would result in an increase in whole set of chromosome in organism or the polyploidy phenomenon.
