Dear Mohan In physics, the angular velocity is defined as the rate of change of angular displacement and is a vector quantity (more precisely, a pseudovector) which specifies the angular speed (rotational speed) of an object and the axis about which the object is rotating.and ω. (also called the angular speed, radial frequency, and radian frequency) is a measure of rotation rate. A high rate of angular frequency means something is turning very fast. The angular frequency is the magnitude of the vector quantity angular velocity which is also known as the angular frequency vector .

Hello Mohan: Angular frequency (or angular speed) is the magnitude of the vector quantity angular velocity. The term angular frequency vector is sometimes used as a synonym for the vector quantity angular velocity. One revolution is equal to 2π radians, hence.

the rate of change of angular position of a rotating body is called angular velocity and the frequency of a steadily recurring phenomenon expressed in radians per second. A frequency in hertz can be converted to an angular frequency by multiplying it by 2π.

Well, the key difference here is that one is a vector quantity while the other is a scalar. If your angle is measured in radians then angular frequency ω ω is given by.
ω=2πf (rad)s−1 ω = 2 π f (rad) s − 1.
while angular velocity

For example, if a race car is traveling along a circular race track at 110 miles per hour, and the radius of the race track is 0.2 miles, then we can find the  of the car by plugging v = 110 miles per hour and r = 0.2 miles into our  to get w = 110 / 0.2 = 550 radians per hour.
