Dear  Student,
From the given data:
cos(theta) + sin(theta) = 0
Subtract cos(a) from both sides:
sin(theta) = -cos(theta)
Divide both sides by cos(theta):
tan(theta) = -1
taking tan inverse both sides we get
 theta = pi n - pi/4  for  any n belongs to Z
Putting n=1, theta=pi-pi/4
Putting n=2, theta=2pi-pi/4 and so on..
So the consecutive values of x are in an ap with common difference as pi.
Ans= one ap.
