This is the form of x+1/x, this will always equal and greater than 2 if x is positive.and this will be always equal and less than -2 if x is negative.This questionnis also in the above form, so tanx value will be and cotx should also be 1.Hence x= 45° or pi/4 radian.I think now you can solve.
