why is it so that a cs topper from a good clg most of the times has a better pay package than a eee or ece or mechanical topper. is the profession of a software engineer a stressful one as compared to the other branches which is why the package is better. is cs an evergreen branch which is here to stay for a really long time or is it just in boom today waiting to fall a few years later. also eee is considered to be one of the toughest courses yet its highest pay pack is not usually higher than cs. is cs tougher than eee or are they more or less the same.

yes a cse/IT guy will always hold an upper hand as far as the pakages are concerned but only if you are from a top engineering college like IITs,BITS pilani,IIITs,top6-7 NITs..elsewhere it may not be the case due to recession and yes cse/IT has much easier curriculum than ece/ee
