I am also an aerospace student of IIT so i know how great college about IIST..if you are really interested in aerospace and then go a head and also you resides very close to IIST so go a head and i know job is assured in ISRo i think..if you really interested in the aerospace field then choose IIST...

this thing depends on your interst, if you are really intersted then join IIST , there are high job guarantee than other branch. and this is also good for girls candidates. But you will miss IIT tag, which is more important, there are some branchs also in IITs like biotech, chemical where you can try. if you are not highly intersted then go to IIT option.
