water boils above 100 deg C in a pressure cooker - TRUE or FALSE

if true,, the why does food is cooked faster in it?????

yes at high pressure in the pressure cooker water boils at a high temperature than its normal boiling point.

so at high temperature it takes less time to boil than at it normal boiling point i.e. at 100 deg C

hi,

yes water boils above 100 deg celsius. it means that it remains for a long time in liquid state itself.thus cooking faster.
