When sugar is dissolved in water the sugar molecules get fit between water molecules.When we stir the solution the sugar dissolves faster.This is due to the following reasons-
1.Stirring increases the rate of diffusion and increases the dissolution.
2.Stirring increases the available surface area of sugar to water,although the total surface area of sugar at any point in time is constant but the surface area exposed to fresh water is increased thereby increasing the dissolution of sugar in water.
