Hi,Water has an unusually high boiling point because of the hydrocarbon bonds b/w the water molecule. Alcohol can form similar hydrogen bonds. As result alcohol have highly boiling point than hydrocarbon.For your knowledge,I think you know thatEther are similar in structure to alcohols and both ethers are alcohols are similar in structure to water.Thanks Janvi shastri
