K will have least work function bcos when light (photons ) strikes the metal (K) it easily ejects photoelectrons bcos it has less value of work function and other options like Mg, Li ,Na will not eject or eject less electrons bcos they high work functions Work function = hå ( h = Planck`s constant, å= threshold frequency ) Incase of K - å is less as compared to other options that`s why K ejects photoelectrons easily
