polymer is a substance which is made by joining of several monomers..plastic is also a polymer.
today the things we are using are almost polymers.there is a wide range of polymers usage .these polymers are classified into several types according to their molecular forces and other qualities.
The eight most common types of synthetic organic polymers, which are commonly found in households are:
  • Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE),
  • High Density Polyethylene (HDPE),
  • Polypropylene (PP)
  • Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
  • Polystyrene (PS)
  • Nylon, nylon 6, nylon 6,6.
  • Teflon (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
