Mixtures of ethanol and acetone behave as a positive deviation . In Pure ethanol molecules are hydrogen bonded. On adding acetone its molecules get in between the host of molecules and break some hydrogen bond between them. Due to weakning of interactions the solution shown is positive deviated.
