States of Matter In liquifying a gas, if the process is done at critcal temperature , will the process be achieved in maintaining the substance in one phase ( rather than a mixture of gas and liquid)? Are there other ways in which a gas can be liquified in such a way that there isn’t a mixture of two phases? I hope for a quick reply from the experts! Thanks in advance!!

See whenever the gas will get liquified its obvious that there will be involvement of more than 1 phase because it is at continuous transition phase during all the time till we are liquifying it.
