 it is expressed that the  number NN of iotas in a unit cell (picked as a hexagonal crystal) is 66 - corner particles contribute 1/61/6 each, confront focused molecules contribute 1/21/2 each, and center layer molecules contribute 11 each. So N=12×1/6+2×1/2+3×1=6N=12×1/6+2×1/2+3×1=6. 
Not with standing, to me it appears that the center layer particles are not completely contained in the unit cell, which would mean N
a/23–√=r/3–√a less than ra/23=r/3less thanr
